Food & Drink
Oktoberfest Brisbane is able to create a truly authentic German folk festival experience in part thanks to the wonderful food and drink on offer at the event, including some mouth-watering gourmet specialties. Our traditional beer garden under the RNA Showground’s beautiful Moreton Bay figs creates a lively atmosphere, which is complimented by the variety of food stalls surrounding the garden.
No matter what your taste (or thirst), you’ll find an array of authentic and delicious treats that are sure to tempt you.
You can expect to find traditional favourites such as German sausages, spit-roasted pork hocks with crackling, and delicious German pastries and cakes that are so good you’ll want to try them all.
In addition to regular and non-alcoholic German beers you’ll find soft drinks, water, tea, coffee, energy drinks, wine, and even German herb liqueur.
And as you sit in the beer garden or stroll the grounds, look out for our traditionally dressed waitresses and their huge baskets selling freshly baked pretzels (a tasty snack) and decorated gingerbread hearts (a fantastic edible Oktoberfest souvenir).
Please note: To comply with strict Queensland Liquor Licensing safety guidelines, beer will be served in plastic steins that replicate the original glass steins.
