The food on offer at Oktoberfest Brisbane 2011 has been specially selected to give visitors a delicious culinary tour to Germany. We want you to experience Germany’s authentic, mouth-watering cuisine firsthand, which is why we’ve included something for every taste in our fabulous range.

Here’s a sample of what to expect in 2011 to get your mouth watering:

  • Fresh pretzels in various sizes, baked fresh on-site
  • Grilled German sausages in mouth-watering flavours
  • Our specialty on-site spit-roasted pork hocks (schweinshaxen) with traditional Bavarian crackling and sauerkraut (the most authentic Oktoberfest food of all)
  • Spit-roasted chicken (grilled on our original Munich Oktoberfest grill) with potato salad or hot chips
  • German meatloaf (leberkäs)
  • Decorated gingerbread hearts (lebkuchenherzen), which make ideal Oktoberfest Brisbane edible souvenirs
  • A range of decadent German pastries, strudels, cheesecakes and cakes (it’s the home of the Black Forest, after all)

Guests at our exclusive Bavarian Corner VIP Tables get a special gourmet selection of hot and cold dishes known as Bavarian Brettl, which includes pretzels, breads, sausages and more.
