Covid Safe Information

Stay COVID Safe

Oktoberfest Brisbane is committed to ensuring a safe Festival experience for all guests and will at all times be planned and delivered compliant with all applicable government restrictions in effect at the time. Everyone needs to play their part to be and stay COVID safe. We ask you to acknowledge your role in helping us to stay COVID safe by adhering to the below behaviours while attending the Festival.

Stay home if you are unwell

Stay home if you are unwell or have a cough, fever, sore throat, fatigue or shortness of breath.

Do not attend the Festival if:

  • You have been in close contact with a person who is positive for COVID-19
  • You are positive for COVID-19
  • You have travelled overseas or to a declared COVID-19 Hotspot in the previous 14 days

Maintain Social Distancing

Get in early and secure one of the hundreds of traditional Bavarian table & bench sets for you and your mates. Only move around the festival site to purchase food, drinks or merchandise, to use the amenities or to go on the rides. While not at your table, you are required to maintain 1.5m social distance from other attendees as well as staff and crew.

You are not required to maintain 1.5m social distance within your social group. Maintaining physical distancing is every individual’s responsibility. Wash your hands regularly

Practice good hand hygiene. Wash your hands frequently and use hand sanitiser where provided. More information on prevention of the spread through hand hygiene can be found here.

Refunds & Cancellations

Should changed restrictions mean that the festival cannot go ahead on the scheduled date(s), we will either postpone or cancel the festival. In this case, your tickets will either be valid for the new date or refunded. In any case, if you’ve bought a ticket, we’ll be in contact with you.
